There are various ways to lose weight, be slim and trim and yet have a healthy way of living. Contrary to the misbelieve doing the rounds, one doesn’t have to starve or pump too many weights at one shot to lose those extra pounds. Sometimes it is the mind which helps and the determination of an individual that would help you lose weight.

We know very well how important it is for you to look good and moreover feel good about. This is why we haven’t brought complex ideas and concepts to you today. What we would do is show you the way to lose weight in a safe manner and over a period of time. Please read on and be well informed, but remember, along with this write up, we would suggest you speak t your dietician and physician, since every individual needs special attention and certainly one size would never fit all.

Our suggestions

Ayurveda, a natural herbal way of losing weight has been popular in India for a very long time and till date it has many followers propagating the same. Many Bollywood celebrities and even Hollywood stars have been following the same, especially when the red carpet seasons beckon. You should try the Anti-Kapha diet which is what our stars follow and now you know how they get into shape at the drop of a hat. In this diet you would be asked to eat a lot of veggies, fruits, whole grains and spicy delights. Speak to your local Ayurvedic masters around where you live and they would surely have a customized chart for your needs.

Have you heard of the term no pain no gain? We aren’t asking you to overdo with weights and iron tools. What we are asking you is to exercises everyday, even if it is half an hour a day, it makes a difference at the end of the week. When the Kapha is reduced in the body through lightweight and moderate exercises, the fat in the body dissolves sooner than you can think off it going.

No strain and all gain, should be your aim. Ayurvedic specialists say never overdo with your exercise regime. There has to be a balance on how you exercise and how much you can afford to do. Sweating is wonderful when you workout, but if you go breathless while you workout, to a large extent that too, we would advise against it.

Have you thought of the ancient workout Yoga as a way to lose weight and reduce inches? The form of exercises is very holistic in nature and would not only bring down those pounds on you, but would also take care of your health, body, mind and soul overall.

What should you do once the diet is in place and the exercise too?

Don’t have anything cold to drink. Remember the main aim to lose weight is to increase your metabolism and to burn as much calories as possible. But when you drink something cold right after your work out, where would the fiery metabolism levels come from?

Stop being a couch potato, especially today when we have remotes to do everything for us, right from switching on the television to baking our pies. You should get up and walk around as much as possible and do physical labor at home or at office, so that you maintain your healthy self, and a trim self too.

Go for regular massages using mustard oil or even flaxseed oil. Massaging the fat cells loosen the body fat and helps in reduction of the fat at a faster pace.

Sleep on time and wake up on time. The later you stay awake, the body would crave for more food, midnight snacks especially. Once the body is satiated you may tend to feel sleepier than what you felt before, and thus gain weight more.

Conclusion

If you eat right and work out appropriately, even if it is a short walk round the park or a swim in the pool for half an hour everyday, you wouldn’t be bloating and gaining weight anytime soon.

Obesity and loads of fat around your belly is why you suffer so much from asthma, says a source. Studies have shown there is a correlation between belly fat and asthma. Did you know that central obesity can actually be very risky for those who already suffer from asthma? If you didn’t, it would be wise for you to check online and learn more.

It is said that those who have abdominal fat in excess would have plenty of ill health related issues. For example, asthma, diabetes and even heart diseases to name a few, however, very little has been done or said, especially when they look at the correlation between asthma and belly fat.

In earlier studies, it has been shown that there is indeed a link between BMI and asthma. BMI as we know is a benchmark for the obesity levels in the human body. What this new study did was it looked at the circumference of the waist which was the benchmark for obesity and thus concluded if this could be a possible reason why asthma patients suffer so much. This manner of studying the correlation is first of its kind on individuals suffering from asthma and have oodles of belly fat around them, says a source.

According to research scholars who are currently doing more study on the correlation between belly fat and asthma, they say that around twenty thousand adults, teenagers and senior citizens alike were monitored for around a decade. The BMI of each individual was taken into account, and along with that the measurement of their waist circumference was also taken into consideration. This was done to check the overall obesity along with obesity at the central levels as well. With this test in hand, the research specialists were asked to submit reports on the correlation between asthma and belly fat.

The study showed that patients, who had asthma and were centrally obese, were likely to be attacked by asthma, whereas the ones who were both overall and centrally obese would have been on higher chances of having an attack of asthma anytime soon or in the near future.

In the medical, it is well known that asthma can attack anyone, irrespective of their age, body sizes etc. however, the study has also shown that chances of being attacked higher due to asthma would be because of the combinations of central and overall obesity. Taking both into account one would see that belly fat an overall fat does play a great role in enhancing the asthma attacks suffered by unfortunate people across the globe, say experts studying the attacks of asthma.

Not a single research paper or specialist has been able to let us know why the correlation between asthma and belly fat does exist. It is said that central obesity is closely linked with metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance. Could these factors be the real culprits alleviating the role of asthma attacks? Further studies ahead would only be able to tell!!

Diabetic patients are susceptible to erectile dysfunction (ED) three times more than in non-diabetic males, the ratio of diabetic patients who are suffering from this problem is 35 to 75%. Although there are many treatments for the ED, it is still a problem for diabetic ED patients since there is no single treatment mechanism that works effectively with their condition.

A cooperative research between Chinese and American scientists studied the impact of caffeine in decreasing ED in diabetic rats, they concluded that caffeine can stimulate the other medications, to work more effectively, when it is taken as a part of daily diet, which gives a hope that caffeine may reduces the ED.

Erections in the penis depends on something called “NOcGMP pathway,” which is responsible of the constriction and relaxation of the Vascular, the constriction and relaxation of the Vascular causes the erection. The diabetes mellitus severely affects the NOcGMP, the result is constriction in the penile arteries which leads to erectile dysfunction.

In most cases, ED is treated by medications that contain inhibitors that prevent breakdown of intracellular cGMP, and since caffeine is a non-selective inhibitor, scientists hypothesized that it could help elevate cGMP. To test that, scientists applied the experiments on four groups of Sprague-Dawley rats induced with diabetes mellitus, the four groups are treated in different ways as follows:

Group A had normal controls.

Group B treated with normal saline.

Group C treated with 10 mg of caffeine per kg of weight.

Group D treated with 20mg of caffeine per kg of weight.

The experiments lasted for eight weeks. To evaluate the effects of these medications on the erectile function, ICP or intracavernous pressure, was measured by radioimmunoassay. The results showed that rats in groups C and D had improvements in the erectile function, in other words the use of caffeine partially restored the erectile function when it is used for eight weeks on these rats. So, the conclusion of this study is that the therapies can be combined to target the molecular levels involved in diabetic ED patients.

The experiments were applied on rats; there are no conclusive studies that measure the impact of using caffeine on humans who are diabetic patients with ED.

You should note that moderate levels of caffeine may give positive effects for the body in general and the erection precisely, but the high levels may cause negative effects such as impaired sleep and increased anxiety, which are well known causes of ED.

While weight loss is the primary focus for the overweight, it is actually one’s body mass index (BMI) that should be focused on.

BMI is the relation between a person’s weight and height and should ideally be between 20-25. If the BMI is more than 30, then you are obese. While being overweight itself is not a disease, obesity is as it makes regular activities difficult and leads to health problems like high blood pressure, heart and liver diseases, high cholesterol, diabetes and problems with the bladder and reproductive system.

Causes

There are various causes for obesity, the main being genetic factors. A person’s body weight and size is not determined only by food intake but also by their body composition and variations like lower Basal body temperature and a subdued thyroid performance.

Psychological factors like stress, anxiety and depression lead to binge eating especially in women, which in turn leads to obesity. Moreover, women going through menarche (first menstrual period), pregnancy and menopause tend to put on weight in these phases. Contraceptive pills full of steroids and hormones also make a woman fat.

Researchers have recently proven that exposure to industrial chemicals in the environment also lead to obesity. Researchers prove that these chemicals called can mimic some hormones in the body, and change the architecture of fat cells. This can lead to change in one’s body metabolism and consequent obesity.

Symptoms

Obesity is obvious by the increase in body mass and also by other symptoms like lack of energy level, back pain, snoring, shortness of breath, appearance and pain in the knee, hips and joints. Obesity also induces other related conditions like gout, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, high cholesterol levels, osteoarthritis and sleep apnea.

Diagnosis and treatment

Obesity is diagnosed once the BMI exceeds 30 and in case of morbid obesity, the BMI count goes beyond 40. As obesity can lead to chronic diseases, doctors recommend diet pills with caloric restriction and regular exercise to reduce the risk of life threatening diseases.

Diet pills usually prescribed for obesity are amphetamine-like, appetite suppressant FDA drugs that help with fast and short-term weight reductions. However for long term weight loss, and maintenance, one should follow a healthy lifestyle that includes physical activity and an improved diet.

Exercise is best for treating obesity, which ranges from aerobic to anaerobic to cardiovascular exercises. The best exercise for losing weight is cardiovascular exercise as it works the body harder at encouraging burning of calories.

In case of people suffering from morbid obesity with a BMI count of more than 40, doctors may prescribe weight loss surgeries like tummy tuck and bariatric surgery. They help in resolving obesity and in preventing chronic diseases in the severely overweight patient who cannot lose weight through diet and exercise.

Most of us have heard about hypnosis, no big deal. But not many of us look at hypnosis as a way to control our body, mind and soul. We have seen many shows on television and even on famous websites telling us all about the benefits of hypnosis, but today we would like to speak to you about what hypnosis can do for you.

An introduction to hypnosis

Yes, the practice of hypnosis does work and is used by many specialists across the globe. Most therapists use hypnosis to help individuals for various reasons, such as weight loss, phobias and discontinuing bad habits as well. Sources say, almost everyone can be under a hypnotic spell when administered too, however, studies have shown some individuals do tend to get into a trance like state when hypnosis is administered to them as well, this is what most therapists call “nervous sleep”.

However, many controversies regarding the practice of hypnosis has emerged in the recent times, especially when the term is used for trance like situations experienced by patients who come for help. When an individual undergoes hypnosis, they tend to fall into the mode of consciousness which cannot be defined. The patient seems to dapple between being aware and unaware at the same time, while the hypnotists work on them.

A hypnotist would suggest and guide as the practice is on so that the mind is manipulated and the patient is able to successfully overcome the phobia or the bad habits they want to get rid off for good. Hence, it has been proved time and again that hypnosis really works wonders for many across the globe, you should try it too!!

Hypnosis is very closeted say many, but why?

Popular belief around the globe says, hypnosis is nothing but brainwashing and hence most people tend to stay away from it. When a person is hypnotized they are not aware completely of their surroundings and feel they would be manipulated through the act to do things they don’t want to consciously do.

Most don’t even know the right contacts to get in touch with real hypnotists available around the world. It is important to have the right certified hypnotists working for your needs, since the wrong hands working on you could lead to disastrous results, says a source.

Hypnosis is effective and you can try it too

Many across the globe today have benefited from hypnosis to overcome bad habits and phobias. Some have even used hypnosis to reduce weight, improve and strengthen relationships etc. With a combination of NLP techniques and social conditioning of the mind, body and soul, hypnosis has been able to bring positive changes to people across the globe and also influence people to lead better lives.

In conclusion

If you would really want to use hypnosis to reach your goals, we suggest you go ahead with the thought. However, it is important that you do your homework on choosing the right hypnotist to do the needful for you. You don’t want to shell out a fortune to the wrong folks around and have an end to your happy way of being, now do you!!
