Since you don’t seem to understand what climate change is, I’ll explain as quickly as possible. There is a difference between the two groups of people. It is possible to be considered poor and still have vehicle ownership.

Yes exactly, it’s a congestion charge. And the impact of congestion is a) more traffic delays and b) additional pollution. So it’s not unreasonable that bigger polluters should pay more. If the 30,000 worst polluters are removed then that can only be a good thing.

It’s not about taxing people that have more money than you, it’s about the principle that with wealth should come responsibility. The fact that you can afford it shouldn’t give you the right to pollute more than anybody else.

It is not a rich/poor tax it is an emission tax and most poorer people drive older cars with higher emissions. So they are affected more. Richer people will just pay it.

So I say…

Makes as much sense as your statement.
